Jaipur: Global IT consulting company Xebia inaugurated its new technology hub in Jaipur strengthening its presence in the region adding additional capacity. A senior executive of the company said that the new hub is part of its global strategy to expand business operations in thriving tier-II cities like Jaipur.
Anand Sahay, Global CEO of Xebia, said, “Our experimentation in tier-II cities in India is working out well. We are present in Bangalore, Hyderabad Chennai, Pune, and Gurgaon. But we are finding much more resilient, technology-efficient and talented people in these tier-II cities. To find such people and nurture them, we are very excited.” From 120, the company has increased the headcount to 800 in the Jaipur centre. Sahay said that they have plans to increase further their total talent pool to 8,000 from the current 6,000. “Jaipur centre will have 1800 of the total talent in the next 18 months,” added Sahay.
With 24 offices established globally, Xebia is the largest IT organization of Dutch origin in India. tnn
