BSF truck overturns, 1 jawan killed, 12 injured in Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

The injured were rushed to Jawahar hospital in Jaisalmer. Condition of three injured jawans is serious.
The deceased BSF head constable is a resident of Bihar.
Senior BSF, police and administration officers reached the spot and coordinated with the doctors for treatment of the injured.
The truck left from Dabla and was headed to Shahgarh bulj with 16 jawans. The incident took place near Ghotaru, 170km from Jaisalmer district headquarters.
Reportedly, the truck driver saw a big pit on the road. He swivelled the steering wh eel and lost control causing the vehicle to overturn.
Thirteen out of 16 jawans sitting in the truck were injured. Head constable Sanjay Kumar Dubey (40), a resident of Bihar, died while being taken to the hospital.
The jawans deployed in a nearby border outpost were informed and they reached the spot with ambulance and took the injured to Jaisalmer district hospital where the doctors declared Dubey dead.
The body will sent to deceased’s native place after postmortem.
Dy SP Priyanka Kumawat said that police and BSF were investigating the case.
