Jaipur: A sub-inspector (SI) of Subash Chowk police station was suspended following a scuffle with a political party’s worker outside a college on Friday afternoon. Police said that polling was underway at the college when some outsiders arrived at the college. Police said that they had tried to stop the leader from entering inside the college when a scuffle broke out during which he fell to the ground. Several people then protested against the police. DCP (North) Paris Deshmukh said that the complainant alleged misbehaviour following which the SI was suspended.
