10 Students Duped Of ₹9.5l Over Class 10 Mark-sheets | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A case of cheating was registered at Losal police station in Sikar district against a man who took nearly Rs 9.50 lakh from students promising them mark-sheets of Class 10 with good passing marks from an open school. When the parents got the mark-sheets verified, 10 out of 80 were found to be fake. Six months after the incident, around 10 parents have lodged a cheating case against the accused who is presently on the run.
According to police, complainant Heera Lal said he had met a man identified as Shiv Pal in May last year. “Shiv Pal claimed he can get mark-sheets with good passing marks for class 10 from Rajasthan state open school. He promised no student will be required to appear for the exam and they will all get mark-sheets with good passing marks,” said Losal SHO Pushpendra Singh said. Lal told police he had transferred Rs 9.50 lakh to Pal’s account. TNN
