Rohit Godara: Rohit Godara’s Gang Member Arrested In Extortion Case | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Bikaner police on Monday arrested an accused, who was a member of the Rohit Godara’s gang in the recent extortion case.
The accused Pankaj Nayak, son of Ganesh, a resident of Mohalla Subhashpura near Swarn Jayanti Bypass Road, Bikaner, was arrested as he demanded a ransom of Rs 80 lakh from the victim in the JNVC Thana area.
An official said, “The victim reported to the police that on July 17 around 6pm, three persons forcibly entered her house and intimidated her. They forced her to speak to Rohit Godara. Godara allegedly demanded a ransom of Rs 80 lakh. They threatened to kill her and her family if the money was not given in two days. Based on this report, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation.”
After the incident five teams, comprising members from the cyber cell Bikaner and JNVC Police Station, were formed. These teams analysed the incident, mapped out the suspect’s potential routes, and utilised CCTV footage to compile a database. Godara is a henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. TNN
