12 Injured In Clash Between 2 Groups | Jaipur News
Jaipur: At least 12 persons including women were injured in a violent confrontation between two groups at Bagadmeo village in Alwar distrct on Thursday. One of the groups also opened fire on the other. Heavy police force was deployed in the village and police have registered cases after taking complaints from both the groups. Police till Friday evening detained 20 people for the violence.
According to police, a tiff over throwing of garbage took an ugly turn between two neighbours when both the groups including women, teenagers, youths and men attacked each other with iron rods and batons. “One group was led by Jamshed Ahmed and Khurshid and other was led by Yusuf and Sebuddin. It is alleged that both the group attacked each other in which 12 persons were injured. One of the group has also alleged in the FIR that the other opened fire in which two out of 12 were injured,” said a senior police officer of Alwar. In the investigation so far, it was found that one Shabeer had eve-teased a woman in the locality that added to the anger in addition to the scuffle the two groups had on Wednesday evening over spilling of garbage. Soon after the incident, a police team was rushed to the spot. “Various reasons are coming as the cause of the violent confrontation. We are taking statements of both the groups,” the officer added. tnn
