Jaipur: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has approved 1,560 posts including 98 for doctors and paramedical staff for two satellite hospitals coming up in Jaipur and Chittorgarh, while 1,462 new posts have been approved for 158 primary health centres which will be upgraded from sub-health centres in the state.
Satellite hospitals will be constructed in Karbala area of Jaipur and Chittorgarh. Creation of 98 new posts has also been approved for them. In both the hospitals, five posts of junior specialists, one post each for senior medical officer, dental medical officer, junior assistant, female health worker, pharmacist, dental technician, 1-1 post for eye assistant, 4-4 posts for medical officer and lab technician cadre, two posts each for nurse grade (I) and radiographers, 15 posts for nurse grade (II), six posts for ward boys and four posts for cleaning staff.
Besides, 158 sub-health centres will be upgraded to primary health centres for which 1,462 posts have been approved.
