2 Groups Clash On Campus In Raj Varsity, 3 Detained | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Gandhi Nagar police station detained three youths after supporters of two student leaders clashed with each other inside Rajasthan University on Friday.
The police said that two youths also sustained injuries in the scuffle, during which both sides vandalized vehicles. According to officials, the fight broke out in the afternoon when two girls exchanged insults.
“These two girls are supporters of the two student leaders. As the fight escalated, more supporters from each side joined in and engaged in the scuffle,” said an official, adding that such incidents have become recurrent on the campus.
Large numbers of police were deployed inside the university after the incident to avert any further escalation.
Meanwhile, the video of the incident soon went viral on social following and cops also pacified the angry protestors. “NSUI leaders are fighting amongst themselves on an everyday basis. The ABVP has nothing to do with this scuffle,” ABVP leader Bharat Bushan Yadav said.
