Jaisalmer: Two youths were crushed by a car at Siwana town in Barmer district on Friday morning. Both were rushed to the hospital in serious condition where they died while undergoing treatment.
The car hit two-three other vehicles after losing balance. Police reached the spot and kept the bodies at Nahata Hospital in Balotra. The driver of the car ran away. Police have started the investigation.
According to Siwana police, a baraat was going from Lohawat Jodhpur to Siwana in Barmer district on Friday morning.
To buy decorative items for the groom’s car, two of the groom’s friends stopped at Sanjeevani complex. Both were standing in front of the complex when a car hit them.
They were rushed to hospital at Siwana from where they were referred to Balotra. They were admitted at Nahata Hospital where they died during treatment. The bodies have been kept at the mortuary. The car driver ran away from the spot. tnn
