Jaipur: A 14-year-old girl from Europe has filed a complaint that unidentified men took pictures of her while she was at a hotel swimming pool in the city on Tuesday.

The city police said that they acted on her complaint and registered an FIR against unnamed men under the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
“The incident occurred on Tuesday while she was relaxing on a sunbath chair. There were other men present at the hotel for a seminar and some of them were taking their selfies when the girl complained that they also took photos of her,” said an official anonymously.

The official mentioned that three mobile phones have been confiscated, and the CCTV footage from the location where the alleged incident occurred is under examination.
“It seems that the men were taking photos of themselves and inadvertently included the girl in the frame,” the official claimed.
He said that no arrests have been made yet, but the girl’s statements have been recorded.
