Jaipur: A petition challenging the suspension of former JMC-Heritage mayor Munesh Gurjar came up for hearing at Rajasthan High Court on Monday, but the court adjourned it as the state government sought time to reply on it. The next hearing is slated for August 21.

Gurjar has challenged the government’s suspension order following the arrest of her husband and two middlemen by ACB for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh for issuing pattas.
