Jaisalmer: The extent to which children can go in their pursuit of online gaming can be gauged from the example of a 14-year-old boy in Jaisalmer who went to Kolkata without informing anyone at home, to meet some youths who had assured that he could earn money from online gaming.
The teenager went missing from his home on September 16, leaving his mobile phone behind. His father feared that unknown callers with whom he had talked to on his phone in the last three calls may have kidnapped him.
The father lodged a report at Kotwali police station. SHO Satyaprakash Vishnoi said that the boy was located in Kolkata. Police there found him on Wednesday and he is now being brought back to Jaisalmer.
