Extinction Event: Deeg Police Seize Illegally Run Atms Used By Criminals | Jaipur News

Jaipur: In a unique and proactive move, the Deeg district police have seized four ATMs, numerous POS machines, and laptops suspected to have been primarily used by cybercriminals.
SP (Deeg) Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyaya stated that these ATM machines were believed to have been illicitly installed and possibly utilized by cybercriminals for their unlawful activities.
A dedicated police team carried out the operation on Friday morning, targeting ATMs that were determined to be illegally established.
Police have also confiscated 10 debit cards, four cash counting machines, laptops, and a sum of Rs 2.94 lakh.
For several months, the Deeg police have been monitoring cybercrime syndicates that frequently use ATMs in obscure locations for cash withdrawals.
Police have filed five FIRs as part of their ongoing investigation. tnn

After receiving a different card from the man, the victim discovered that money had been deducted from his account. A complaint has been registered against the unknown individual for breach of trust and cheating.
Burglars make vain attempt to steal ATM in Nizamabad dist
Burglars attempted to steal from a Union Bank of India ATM in Nizamabad district, but were unsuccessful. After failing to break open the machine, they tried to escape with it, but were spotted by alert locals who raised the alarm, causing the burglars to flee. The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the offenders.
