Ecology: Dushyant Murder Case: Court Set To Pronounce Verdict On October 26 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The final arguments between prosecution and defence have been completed at the district judge court in the murder case against Priya Seth and others who are accused in killing a youth Dushyant Sharma in May 2018.
The court is likely to give its verdict in the case on October 26.
Sandeep Luhadia, counsel for the father of the deceased youth, talking to TOI on Tuesday, said, “The statements of 45 witnesses, including investigating officer Gur Bhupendra Singh, have been completed. The cross examination of the witnesses have also been completed.”
In his testimony, Singh said that Seth got in touch with Dushyant through social media app.
“Considering Dushyant to be a rich man, he was taken to a flat where Dikshant Kamra and Lakshya Walia, the two accomplices of Priya, kept him hostage and demanded a ransom from his father. Later, Dushyant was killed and his body was kept in a suitcase and was thrown in the hills of Amber,” said Luhadia.
Luhadia added that in the court that murder and criminal conspiracy against the three accused has been established through medical, FSL and other relevant reports.
“Even in the chargesheet against Priya and two others, police too have maintained that the murder of Dushyant was part of a well-planned conspiracy and to destroy the evidence, they had kept his body in a suitcase and thrown it in the hills of Amber,” Luhadia added.
After the incident, the deceased’s father Rameshwar Prasad had lodged a report against Priya and others at Jhotwara police station. Police had arrested three accused, including Priya and two of her accomplices Dikshant and Lakshya in this case for murder, extortion and criminal conspiracy.
