Residents: Residents Protest As Congress Councillors Visit Areas For Vote | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Residents in Adarsh Nagar constituency staged a protest when Congress councillors reached there to seek votes.
Residents alleged that elected representatives are not available for public when development work is needed to be done but seek votes before elections.
In a video being shared on social media, councillors from Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage can be heard saying that they ask for votes based on work done while residents alleged that no work has been done.Councillor Pushpendra Meena from ward 100 along with his supporters is visible in the video stating he has done work based on which he is seeking the support of public, when residents start using foul language to respond to him. The authenticity of the video could not be verified but sources said that the incident occurred on Monday near Vijaypura Road in Adarsh Nagar. tnn

Known for his dedication to the people of Kidderpore, he had won civic elections 11 times and was elected four times from the Kabitirtha assembly constituency. His body will be brought to the KMC headquarters before cremation.
BJP, Cong candidates spar over death of cows in Adarsh Nagar
BJP candidate Ravi Nayyar from Aadarsh Nagar in Jaipur shed tears over the deaths of two cows and a calf at his office, blaming his rival Rafik Khan for the incident. Nayyar accused Khan of orchestrating a conspiracy and demanded an investigation. Khan dismissed the allegations as a publicity stunt and advised Nayyar to focus on campaigning. Meanwhile, Congress candidate Khachariyawas criticized the BJP for using temples and cows for political gain, suggesting that BJP workers may have caused the deaths to create unrest before the elections.
