Dhariwal Questions Ticket To Kalla | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal created another controversy on Saturday when he questioned the high command for not following its own decisions.
At a workshop by the district Congress committee in Kota on the Naya Sankalp declaration in Udaipur, he said the high command in the last assembly elections had decided that the party would not give tickets to those who were defeated twice consecutively but in the case of Bikaner the party gave ticket to B D Kalla.
He said, “Those who make decisions do not stick to it, then what should they expect from us?”
He said, “Earlier also there was a restriction that the person who lost twice will not be given a ticket for the third time. Many people were not given tickets, but when it came to Bikaner, B D Kalla ji was given a ticket despite being defeated twice”.
Dhariwal said that in Udaipur the party had decided to allocate 50% of the party posts and seats in the assembly to below 50 persons but how far will it be practical. He said at the end of the day winnability of the candidate also had to be taken into account.
