Govt Declares Results Of 1,765 Doctor Posts But Medics Want More | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Doctors and nurses have demanded increase in the number of posts through direct recruitment on a day health minister Parsadi Lal Meena announced the results of recruitment exam conducted for 1,765 posts of doctors.
A group of nurses protested at Swasthya Bhawan while All Rajasthan MBBS Doctors Association met state Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra on Tuesday demanding more doctors in government services. Doctors also took out a candle light march in the city to make the state government aware about their demand.
A doctor said the government should conduct recruitment exams for more posts.
Meena released the result of medical officer recruitment 2022 by clicking on the website of RUHS from his residence.
He said recruitment of doctors was an important step towards strengthening the basic medical services of the state. With the recruitment of new doctors, availability of doctors in far-flung medical institutions will be ensured.
RUHS vice-chancellor Dr Sudhir Bhandari said the result can be seen on RUHS website www.rush raj.org. He said after document verification, the names will be sent to the government so that appointments can be given to selected doctors.
According to the health department, from director level to medical officers’ level, the sanctioned posts of doctors are 16,487, out of which 12,606 have already been filled while 3,881 posts were lying vacant. The health department had conducted an exercise to find out how many posts needed to be filled by direct recruitment by conducting test and how many needs to be filled by promotions.
Among 3,881 vacant posts, 1,765 posts were lying vacant and needed to be filled by direct recruitment by conducting examination, the result of which has now been declared.
