Raj board exams for Class 12 start at over 6,000 centres today | Jaipur News

Security of question papers and transparency in the examination system have been given the utmost importance this year, said officials of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officials.
RBSE administrator Bhanwar Lal Mehra said all preparations for the board examinations have been completed and that question papers and answer sheets have reached all examination centres in the state.
“The question papers of 5,490 examination centres will be kept at police stations, and the question papers of 334 centres will be kept at police posts. For better safety, question papers of 48 examination centres will be kept at police lines, and question papers of 43 centres at nodal centres. The question papers of 113 examination centres will be kept at those examination centres only, where there is 24 hours of security arrangements,” said Mehra.
Superintendents of the examination centres will be responsible for opening of the wrong question papers and will be punished for lapses, said officials. After the examinations, answer sheets from all over the state will be brought to the board office through special vehicles. Fifty answer book collection centres and 12 sub-centres have been made for this, said officials.
The use of mobile phones or any kind of electronic device will be prohibited within a radius of 100 meters from the examination centres, said officials. “No candidate or other person will be allowed to enter the examination centre with electronic devices like mobile phone or digital diary. No employee or invigilator deployed at the examination centres will be able to take mobile phones or electronic equipment with them into the premises,” said an official.
There will be restrictions on the use of internet and fax at the examination centres.
