Mayo College Alumni artists showcase their artwork in the city | Jaipur News

Mayo College Alumni Artists (MAA) is organizing an art exhibition at the Welcome Art Gallery. The exhibition which will continue till March 21 was inaugurated today by former student and actor Rahul Singh.

The exhibition is showcasing around 125 artworks by 24 artists, including water colour, acrylic, charcoal, mixed media, and oil paintings in various styles. Rahul Singh praised the artists and their artwork and said that this event is a good initiative to encourage artists and provide them a platform to showcase their art.

Meanwhile, the organizers of the exhibition, former Mayo students, Dushyant Singh Naila and Hemendra Singh Vedsa, informed that this event is being held in memory of former Mayo teacher, late Ramesh Mathur, who was himself an artist and a former student of the college. Paintings made by him are also on display at this exhibition. They further added that the purpose of this exhibition is to inspire, promote and support college artists through a platform. Also present on the occasion were Admiral Madhavendra Singh, Renu Mathur.
