Jaipur: Rajasthan women cricketers Suman Meena, Siddhi Sharma and Pearl Banawat bagged the Sundarkanti Joshi Awards in the senior, junior and sub-junior categories, respectively on Saturday. The three players were rewarded for their performance in the domestic season 2022-23.
In the recently concluded domestic season, Suman scored 250 runs and claimed 26 wickets while Siddhi amassed 102 runs and took 19 wickets in the Under-19 one-dayers and T20s. Off-spinner Pearl impressed with her 13-wicket outing.
The awards are held by Radha Niwas Cricket Club to promote women cricketers in the state. The club’s secretary and former Rajasthan player Sharad Joshi informed that the felicitation ceremony will be held on April 3.
