Man Who Killed Dad 4 Days Ago In Police Net | Jaipur News
Kota: A 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday for allegedly killing his 65-year-old father in their house in a village in Baran district four days ago.
The accused, Kamal Suman, had killed his father, Srikishan Suman, a resident of Kadiya Chatri village under Bapcha police station, by attacking him with a sharp weapon when he was asleep on the verandah on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, said Baran SP Raj Kumar Choudhary.
“The accused was of an eccentric bent of mind and was angry with his father for not being given pocket money to attend the wedding ceremony of a relative he had attended hours earlier on Sunday evening,” said Choudhary.
SHO Surendra Kuntal of Bapcha police station said the accused admitted during interrogation that he killed his father by hitting his neck with an axe. The axe he used for the crime has been recovered, added the SHO.
“The accused, being of a weird nature, had earlier beaten his father three-four times, it was learnt. His wife had also left him soon after marriage,” he added.
Police had registered a case of murder against unidentified accused in the matter and initiated a probe, which led to the finding that Srikishan Suman was killed by his own son.
The accused was produced before a court on Friday and sent to a day’s police remand for interrogation, said the SHO.
