Pm Comes Only For Polls, Speaks On Religion & Caste, Says Dotasra | Jaipur News
Jaipur: State Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ajmer as disappointing for not declaring ERCP as a national project and betraying the people of the state. He said that Prime Minister has made nothing but give an election speech in Ajmer where in 2018 Modi talked about giving national project status to ERCP. Modi has disappointed the people of 13 districts of the state by forgetting his promise, he said. Dotasra said, “Modi comes only for elections, gives statements on religion and caste. What is happening at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar? Atrocities are being committed against sons and daughters of the farming community,” he alleged.
He said while the central government led by PM Modi has brought unprecedented inflation and unemployment, the Congress government in the state has been working to save the public from inflation and unemployment by giving 10 guarantees. “Modi is so self-obsessed that he tries to prove that the development started only during the last nine years of the Modi government,” he alleged.
He claimed that the law and order situation in Rajasthan is better than in the BJP-ruled states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana whereas compared to 2019, there has been a decrease of 5% in crimes in Rajasthan.
Dotasra said the state government has given a guarantee of providing 125 days of employment to the urban and rural residents of Rajasthan, while 42 percent of people in the 18-25 age group are unemployed under Modi’s rule, which is the highest unemployment rate in the last 40 years. “Modi has forgotten that India had acquired the capability to make vaccines as early as 1960 and polio was eradicated from the country during the UPA rule,” he said.
The Congress leader said the people of Karnataka showed BJP the door due to the massive corruption under the BJP government there.
