Admn Begins Land Acquisition Process For Northern Ring Road | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The district collectorate on Tuesday started the process of land acquisition for the construction of the upcoming northern Ring Road connecting the stretch between Jaipur-Agra and Jaipur-Delhi national highways.
An official press release from the collectorate said the district administration would acquire land to create a 45-km long stretch between Bagrana village in Jaipur tehsil and Chaump village in Amer tehsil for which 389 hectares will be acquired.
“For this, 6 villages of Jaipur tehsil, 14 villages of Amer tehsil and 14 villages of Jamvaramgarh have been identified,” said district collector Prakash Rajpurohit.
Under the proceedings of land acquisition, the proposal of Section 3 (A) of the Act has been sent by the additional district collector II to the National Highway Authority of India on January 13, which will soon be published in the Gazette of India. “Once paper works are completed, compensation will be paid,” the release added.
Additional district collector Amrita Chaudhary has been authorized by the ministry of road transport and highways as competent authority (land acquisition) for the construction of the project vide the gazette dated December 5, 2022. The corridor will be developed on the lines of the 47km southern corridor between Agra Road and Ajmer Road. Out of the 360-metre-wide Ring Road, the NHAI will build a 70-metre transport corridor, while JDA will build a 135-metre development corridor on both sides.
