Notice To Shekhawat An ‘act Of Revenge’: State Bjp Chief | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Slamming the notice served to the union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat by the ruling Congress government for voice samples in the phone tapping case, BJP state president Satish Poonia, has termed it as an ‘act of revenge’ on Saturday.
“In Rajasthan, the law enforcement agencies including the police, ACB, SOG are being used as a weapon by Ashoka Gehlot to suppress his opponents,” said Poonia, adding that the foundation of the present Congress government was laid on ‘jugaad’ and they are working only to silence those who are taking stand against them.
“Serving notice to the union minister shows that Gehlot is worried about his position in the state and wants to deflect the attention of people from his failures,” said Poonia.
He warned Congress that they are in the minority and should worry about resolving the internal disputes.
“He is running a minority government, both within the party and outside the party. The way Gehlot’s own leaders are openly challenging and fighting with each other shows that internal fight is at an all-time high, costing the development of the state,” said Poonia.
