Ajmer Admn Gets Nod For Lift At Brahma Temple | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Ajmer administration has received permission from the department of archaeology to build a lift at Pushkar Brahma temple for the convenience of devotees who are specially abled, said district collector Anshdeep. Ajmer district administration had earlier decided to build a lift alongside the 17 steps that lead to the main entrance of the temple.
“We have received permission from the state’s department of archaeology to build a lift outside the temple premises, for which we don’t need Archaeological Survey of India’s (ASI) permission. We will build the lift outside (the temple) and connect it with a platform that will lead to the main entrance of the temple. This will help specially abled devotees to get a darshan of the deity,” he said.
