Albert Hall: Albert Hall Swearing-in Ceremony: Traffic Diversions in Place for VVIP Event | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The Jaipur traffic police on Thursday rolled out a comprehensive traffic diversion plan for the swearing-in ceremony of CM-designate Bhajan Lal Sharma at the Albert Hall, which will be attended by VVIP guests like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday.
Additional police commissioner Rahul Prakash said that the diversions will remain enforced from 10am till the event is over.The entire area around the Albert Hall will remain a no-vehicle zone and a no-parking zone. Vehicular traffic from Trimurti Circle on the JLN Road will be diverted from the Arogya Path due to the event. A diversion will also be enforced from Trimurti Circle and Dharam Singh Circle if vehicular traffic increases.
Only vehicles bound for the function will be allowed entry from Trimurti Circle towards Arogya Path and then to Ramniwas Bagh. All types of vehicles are restricted from entering Ram Niwas Bagh via MD Road through Museum Road.
Vehicles from Ghat Gate going towards Ram Niwas Bagh via Sanganeri Gate will also face diversion as traffic will be asked to move from Sanganeri Gate towards Johri Bazaar. In case of heavy traffic, diversions will be in place from Ghat Gate to Ghat Bazaar, Gurudwara Modh to Govind Marg, Transport Nagar flyover to Jawahar Nagar Bypass, and Badi Chauper to Ramganj Chauper and Tripolia market.
Normal traffic will not be allowed towards Rabindra Theater from Sanganeri Gate. Only vehicles attending the function will be permitted, with designated parking at the Rabindra Theater parking lot.
Vehicles coming from Chhoti Chauper and heading towards Ajmeri Gate via Kishanpol Bazaar will be diverted to Sanjay Circle and Tripolia. Traffic from MI Road, Yadgaar Tiraha towards Ramniwas Bagh intersection will be diverted from Ajmeri Gate to Chhoti Chauper.
Diversions will be implemented from Panch Batti intersection to St Xavier intersection, directing traffic from the Government Hostel intersection towards the Government Press intersection. The main road from Yadgar office to Minerva Circle will be accessible only from the back gate of Ram Niwas Bagh. Also, traffic from Ram Bagh towards Tonk Road via Yadgar will be directed through Prithviraj Nagar T Point to Prithviraj Road, diverting from parallel routes earmarked on Laxmi Mandir Tiraha to Sahakar Marg.

Bidhannagar cops in Kolkata have requested banquet hall owners and managers not to allow illegal parking by wedding guests, as it has been causing slow traffic on VIP Road. The traffic congestion is mainly due to vehicles parked in front of banquet halls and impromptu processions taken out by wedding guests. There are around 50 banquet halls and wedding venues between Lake Town and the airport, and most of them have parking spots, but they are not sufficient. In addition to the parking issue, Metro construction work on the Ultadanga-bound flank between the airport and Kaikhali is further adding to the traffic troubles.

The project also involves the construction of an approaching road, bituminous layering, and a subway.
