Minority Affairs: Minority Affairs Dept Launches Dvpt Projects Worth ₹7.4cr | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The department of minority affairs on Thursday inaugurated development projects worth Rs 7.4 crore and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 94.9 crore at a ceremony organised at Haj House in Jaipur.
The foundation stones laid included those for the second floor of Haj House building, development work at 91 madrasas in nine districts under Chief Minister Madrasa Modernisation Scheme, and 10 government minority boys and girls’ residential school buildings under the flagship scheme of the department.
Shale Mohammad, the minister for minority affairs, said basic work worth about Rs 15 crore would be executed at 91 madrasas in nine districts.
A plan will soon be prepared to implement the suggestions received in the Vision Document 2030 in a phased manner as per CM Ashok Gehlot’s instructions, he added.
Speaking at the ceremony, Haj Committee chairman Amin Kagzi said two auditoriums and an ablution chamber have also been constructed at Haj House. Special care will be taken to ensure that pilgrims visiting Haj House do not face any problem, he said. Haj House will also be made available for coaching classes and social programmes for the minorities, added Kagzi.
Rajasthan Madrasa Board chairman MD Chopdar said about 2.25 lakh students are receiving religious and general education at 3,618 madrasas registered with the board.
With the fresh recruitment of 4,143 education instructors and 2,700 computer instructors, quality modern education will be available at the madrassas, he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled several development projects worth approximately Rs 7,000 crore in Chittorgarh. These projects include the Mehsana-Bhatinda-Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline, an LPG Plant of HPCL, additional storage of a bottling plant of IOCL, tourism facilities at Nathdwara, the permanent campus of IIIT in Kota, a four-lane road on NH-12, and various railway projects. Modi emphasized the importance of cleanliness, self-reliance, and competitive development, and highlighted the government’s focus on modern infrastructure in Rajasthan. He also inaugurated the doubling of the Chittorgarh-Neemuch railway line and the electrified railway line between Kota and Chittorgarh.
