Arrest Of OSD: Stay on Arrest of OSD to Outgoing CM Till Dec 19 Jaipur |

A case in connection with the phone tapping matter filed by Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was listed for hearing in the Delhi High Court on Friday.
However, the lawyer representing the complainant stated that nothing much is left in this case as interviews of Lokesh Sharma published in the newspapers had cleared that phone tapping was conducted under his knowledge.
The bench comprising Justice Vikas Mahajan responding to it stated that the court cannot take cognizance on media reports. The court finally gave December 19 as the next date for the hearing. Till then stay on Lokesh Sharma’s arrest will continue.
In March 2021, the Delhi police had registered an FIR against Sharma on charges of criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and unlawfully intercepting telegraphic signals (telephonic conversation) on a complaint by Shekhawat. tnn
