Barmer: Clothes Worth Lakhs Destroyed In Barmer Blaze | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: A fire broke out in a garments factory in the industrial area of Balotra in Barmer district on Wednesday late evening. The fire took an intense turn when it spread to a nearby textile factory. Clothes worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes in the fire.
The fire broke out in Lalima Textile factory located in the third phase of the industrial area. People at the spot tried to extinguish it but due to the presence of cloth and wood inside the factory, the fire took a massive form in a short time. At the same time, due to strong wind, a nearby textile factory, Omkar Enterprise, also was engulfed in the fire.
Fire personnel Girdhariram said that 3 brigades reached the spot and managed to control the fire after several hours.
