Bikaner: Bikaner Rape, Murder Accused Still At Large |
Jaipur: It’s been a week since a 21-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped and murdered at Bikaner’s Khajuwala police station area, the Bikaner police have failed to arrest the main accused. Though six persons have been arrested for giving shelter to the main accused and for criminal conspiracy, no breakthrough has come in the arrest of Dinesh Bishnoi, the main accused.
Police said that Bishnoi’s last location was in Bikaner on June 19 and since then he has switched off his mobile phone. Bikaner police said that at least seven teams are working for Bishnoi’s arrest.
“The arrested include his father, our teams are raiding his relatives’ houses. A lookout notice has already been issued and a reward of Rs 40,000 announced. Our teams have visited Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra,” the officer added. tnn
