Bill: Bandh Against Rth Bill Gets Lukewarm Response | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The call for a complete bandh of private hospitals against the Right to Health (RTH) bill evoked a lukewarm response on Thursday as many hospitals and diagnostic centres remained open and attended to patients.
The Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Society (PHNHS), which called for the bandh, however claimed that the majority of private hospitals remained closed.
Indian Medical Association (IMA) is not taking part in any protest as it has claimed that the state government has addressed their issues and objections while preparing an “amended” Bill. A select committee of MLA has cleared the Bill for tabling in the Assembly.
