Bill: Deadlock continues between private hospitals, Rajasthan govt over RTH Bill | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The state-wide agitation of doctors against the Right to Health (RTH) Bill continued for the fourth straight day with private sector medical services coming to a grinding halt in most parts of the state. Supporting the cause, resident doctors and medics of medical colleges from different parts of the state also extended their support.
A large number of doctors participated at JMA auditorium and gave their suggestions on furthering the movement and formed various committees for the smooth functioning of the movement.
Questioning the constitutional validity of the Bill, striking doctors discussed the issue with constitutional experts. In view of the possibility of bringing such a Bill by other states, doctor associations of other states also discussed the issue with the agitators.
At 6 pm, resident doctors and medical students took out a rally from the medical college to Albert Hall. Dr Vijay Kapoor, secretary, Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Society, said because of the stubbornness of the government, people were facing a lot of inconvenience. TNN
