BJP Office: Bjp Office Echoes With Chants Of ‘modi Saathe Aapno Rajasthan’ | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: It was a clear sign of changing times at the BJP office when mounted DJs, blasting songs, started the day. As ballot counting concluded, BJP workers, previously pacing in anticipation, erupted in celebrations.
Songs that were played included the party’s campaign song, “Modi Saathe Aapno Rajasthan” (Rajasthan with Modi). The song also summed up the mood at the party office after the victory, where several BJP workers and local councillors, interviewed by TOI, expressed that the was won on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal.
Adding to the fervour were the saffron victories in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Several BJP workers and local councillors, interviewed by TOI, said that the election was won on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal.
By 8:30am, BJP workers with saffron scarves around their necks began to arrive at the party office, which was decked up with balloons. A large tent was erected just outside the office where scores of workers crowded, their eyes glued to a large LED screen broadcasting live news. The initial mood was serious, with several workers still driving down from nearby villages, clad in colorful turbans, to the party’s office at Sardar Patel Marg in C-Scheme. When the ballots were counted, many of the party workers and supporters instructed their colleagues to wait for the first round of tea.
SUVs with newly installed BJP flags on bonnets began to make a beeline outside both lanes of the party office. The mood remained somber as initial trends were throwing mixed results, with an elderly BJP worker from Chaksu murmuring that it was going to be a hung assembly. However, as the EVMs began being counted and the trends were flashed on the news channels, it offered a silver lining in a day of an otherwise gloomy weather with dark clouds.
Shortly after 9:18am, as local news channels hinted at the BJP’s early signs of victories in Chaksu, Vidhaydhar Nagar, and Dudu, young workers raised their hands and chanted “Chappa-Chappa Bhaajpa.” They were chided by senior party workers that it was too early and told to wait for a few more hours.
By 9:45am, the BJP office was a packed with police personnel and supporters, some carrying dhol and tasha. Several councillors and office bearers of the party reached, chanting slogans like “Jeet rahe hain”. By 10:30am, the mood shifted to jubilation with chants of “Jai Shree Ram! Modi! Modi!” rending the air. It was clear soon that BJP had won the elections.
