Bjp Seeks Cbi Probe Into Paper Leaks, All Exams Held By Rpsc | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The opposition BJP on Wednesday staged a protest in the state assembly on frequent paper leaks in recruitment exams. Raising the issue during the zero hour through adjournment motions, BJP MLAs demanded a CBI inquiry into the paper leaks and into all exams conducted by RPSC. They also rushed to the well shouting slogans and later staged a walkout.
In the zero hour session, leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore, former minister Vasudev Devnani, and BJP MLAs Ashok Lahoti and Narayan Singh Dewal raised questions over the recruitment exams and alleged that former Congress leader Gopal Kesawat, who has been arrested by the anti-corruption bureau in the case of paper leak of the executive officers (EO) recruitment exam, had links with RPSC members.
The BJP created a ruckus demanding the dissolution of the RPSC and a CBI inquiry into all exams conducted by the commission. Rathore said, “Corruption is rampant in RPSC. Don’t believe us, but at least believe Pilot saheb (Sachin Pilot) who swore by the ulcers on the foot of youths (who walked with him in an anti-corruption yatra) and demanded to disband the RPSC. There should be a CBI inquiry into all the RPSC examinations.”
Rathore said this was the first time in the history of RPSC that its member had been arrested in a paper leak case. “Jobs are being sold in the open market,” he said.
Dewal asked on whose recommendations Babulal Katara was made a member of the RPSC. “A member of the RPSC was arrested, and another member’s name has come up in connection with which a former Congress minister has been arrested recently,” he said.
Devnani said that protesting Bharatiya Yuva Morcha workers were brutally lathi-charged by police in Ajmer in an action reminiscent of the British era.
