Body Found Jaipur: Unidentified Girl Found Dead in Jaipur: Police Investigate Mystery | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Nearly four days after the discovery of a partially burnt body of an unidentified girl in a desolate area in Kalwar, the mystery surrounding her death has deepened.
According to a senior police officer, individuals from a nearby town have raised suspicions, suggesting that the deceased may be the same girl who was reported missing a few days ago from a nearby area.SHO (Kalwar) Dharam Singh stated that while someone has come forward with a claim that she could be the same girl, nothing can be confirmed untilDNA sampling is completed.
According to Singh, the missing girl had previously been reported to have been sexually assaulted in 2021, and a conviction had already been secured in that case but he also said that nothing can be verified yet if she is the same girl. “Her body was charred beyond recognition so it is too early to say anything. Therefore, we sought the assistance of all police stations to cross-check their records of missing persons. Concerned police officials from different locations have been conducting inquiries,” he explained.
The victim’s body was discovered on Friday, and it is believed that stray animals may have chewed on her body parts, complicating the task of tracing her identity
Police, however, emphasised that only DNA sampling would unveil her identity, and the process is currently underway. The police official mentioned that since then, they have made several efforts to establish the girl’s identity but to no avail. An official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, stated that the case has become a tough nut to crack.
“We have scrutinised many CCTVs from the nearby localities in search of suspects because there is a likelihood that she was murdered elsewhere, and her body was dumped here and set ablaze,” he said. Additionally, the Kalwar police have reached out to different police stations in the hope of gathering as much information as possible regarding the potential identity of the girl.
