Carpenter Ends Life, Blames Cop | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Failing to recover outstanding Rs 20,000 for the furniture built for a policeman, a 30-year-old man carpenter ended his life by consuming poisonous substance on Sunday. The man also left a suicide note and held three persons, including the policeman posted at Bharatpur’s Kaithwada police station area, responsible for the extreme step.
According to police, the deceased identified as Nanak Ram was earning his livelihood by making and selling furniture at Kaithwada. On Sunday evening the hospital authorities intimated the police that a man had died due to consuming poison. “Our team visited his house and found a suicide note that stated that one Shahid, a policeman had ordered furniture from Nanak Ram. But he paid only Rs 40,000 out of Rs 60,000 to Shahid Instead of paying the remaining amount, Nanak Ram was threatened,” said police. TNN
