Jaipur: District collector Prakash Rajpurohit on Sunday inspected the control rooms set up in the district to deal with the flood-like situations. Rajpurohit visited control rooms located at Bani Park, Aamer, Ghat gate, Mansarovar, Vishwakarma and Malviya Nagar and gave necessary directions to the officials concerned.
The district collector gave instructions that all resources should be available in the control room for controlling flood situations and to deal with any other calamity. He asked supervising officers of the flood control rooms to ensure 100% attendance of officials in these rooms. Any negligence in this will not be tolerated, he said.
The district collector also inspected the water-logged area at Jhotwara’s Panchyawala. He gave directions to the teams of municipal corporations and Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) to take necessary measures to deal with the situation of water-logging. tnn
