Congress: Will Fight Till Bjp Is Thrown Out Of Power: Dotasra | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Thousands of Congressmen took to the street under the leadership of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Govind Singh Dotasara and gheraoed the Raj Bhavan at the Civil Lines gate in Jaipur against Centre’s decision to terminate the Lok Sabha membership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday afternoon.
AICC Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, members of the state cabinet, MLAs, MLA candidates, president and vice president of corporation/board and public representatives along with hundreds of Congress workers participated in the protest.
“When the British government could not scare Congress, then will the BJP government be able to scare us,” said Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
He said that Congress workers would leave no stone unturned to fight against fascist forces like BJP to save the country and the state.
“Congress workers will not be afraid, they will fight because this is a fight to save the country. We have to fight a long battle, we will fight till the BJP is thrown out of power,” exhorted Randhawa while addressing the workers.
Addressing Congressmen, Govind Singh Dotasra said that termination of Lok Sabha membership of Rahul Gandhi will be recorded as a dark chapter in the history of democracy in the country. After independence, this kind of anti-democratic work has happened for the first time under the rule of the Modi government, he added.
He said that Rahul Gandhi is leader of the Congress party whose great leaders not only liberated the country by making maximum sacrifices but also maintained democracy in the country.
“Rahul Gandhi is with the truth and no one can divert him from the path of truth. You will never be able to scare or bow down the patriotic son of the family who sacrificed two Prime Ministers for the country. Time has come to teach a lesson to the fascist forces, we will give a befitting reply from the road to the Parliament,” said Dotasra.
Rahul Gandhiji is being punished for speaking the truth, democracy has been strangled to suppress his voice on public issues. Is it a crime to ask questions on Adani loot? he asked.
“Is it a crime to call fugitives like Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi thieves? Protection to thieves and punishment for raising questions,” asked Dotasra.
