KOTA: A 40-year-old man and his wife (36) were killed while another woman of the family with them was critically injured after an unidentified vehicle hit their motorbike on Sunday near Bundi’s Rajlawta village.
The deceased couple was identified as Sohanlal Meena, his wife Ramdhanibai (36), of Bankiya village while the injured woman was identified as Santrabai, Sohanlal’s sister-in-law.
The three were going on a motorbike to Choth Ka Barwada Mataji temple in Sawai Madhopur district, SHO at Nainwan police station Babulal Meena said. Some unidentified vehicle hit the bike, seriously injuring the three.
They were rushed to the community health centre at Nainwan, where doctors declared Sohanlal and his wife brought dead while Santrabai was referred to Bundi district hospital. The two bodies were handed over to the family. A case of negligent driving was lodged against the driver of unidentified vehicle and efforts are on to trace him, the cop said.
