Covid 19: India reports 3 deaths and 102 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours | India News
NEW DELHI: India reported 102 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, according to the data of the Union health ministry on Wednesday.
A total of three fatalities were reported– two in Uttar Pradesh and one in Kerala– taking the death toll to 5,30,756, according to the data uploaded at 8 am.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in India increased to 1,823, taking the percentage to 0.01.
The daily positivity rate of the disease to 0.08 per cent while the weekly positivity rate of coronavirus is at 0.09 per cent. The total tally of Covid-19 cases was recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,84,376).
The national recovery rate rose to 98.81 per cent and the number of people recovering from the disease was 4,41,51,797, while the fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 per cent.
The nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive has administered 220.63 crore vaccine doses so far, according to the Union health ministry website.
