Dausa girl abducted, gang-raped by 2; child raped by Alwar man | Jaipur News

JAIPUR/ALWAR: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two people in Dausa on Wednesday, even as a 6-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 65-year-old man in Alwar on Sunday.
In the first case, the girl, a student of Class 12, went missing in the morning and was found near Jeerta Mode area in Dausa late in the evening. The victim’s father lodged an FIR following the incident.
According to police, the girl’s father approached them on Thursday morning and filed the complaint. The girl had gone to school and, on the way, had gone to a store to make photocopies of some papers. “The school was over at 1pm, but she did not return home. Her parents had attempted to find her when she did not return till 6pm on Wednesday,” said Dinesh Sharma, ASP of Dausa. tnn
“They found their daughter in an unconscious state near Jarota Mode area of Dausa on the Jaipur-Agra national highway. We were informed today (Thursday),” Dinesh Sharma, ASP of Dausa, said.
In a statement to the police, the victim said she was abducted by two men, who took her to a room on the express highway in Dausa district and raped her.
“The girl has been medically examined. She has no major injuries and we have recorded her statement. Based on her statement, we have identified both the assailants. They are on the run. We have raided a few places, including their homes. We hope to arrest them soon,” Sharma said.
Police said a case under various sections of the IPC and the Pocso Act have been registered against the two accused.
In another case, the Neemrana police in Alwar registered a case against a 65-year-old man for allegedly raping a 6-year-old girl at a wedding reception on Sunday.
Police identified the accused as one Sher Singh Yadav, who they said is on the run. They said the little girl has been medically examined.
“The incident took place three days ago. The girl’s father discussed it with some of the villagers who advised him to decide the matter in the panchayat. The family did not inform us about the incident initially,” a police officer said.
“Finally, the father and mother approached us late on Wednesday evening and we have registered a case under appropriate sections of the Pocso Act,” the officer said.
