Jaipur News: Fistfight between lawyers over stolen ‘expensive pen’ | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Two lawyers in Jaipur came to blows over suspicion of an expensive pen having been stolen by one of them from the other’s coat.
The altercation initially began a few days ago when a lawyer, upon returning from lunch, noticed that his expensive pen, which he had placed in his coat pocket, was missing. He inquired with another lawyer who had been sitting in the chamber just behind his coat.
“The lawyer got angry and said that he was not a thief and such questions should not be addressed to him. A few days later, the lawyer claimed to have found CCTV footage of the second lawyer walking away with the same pen,” said an official.
The situation spiralled out of control on Saturday when the two lawyers engaged in a physical altercation in their chamber.
According to a senior police official, an FIR has been filed at the Ashok Nagar police station against another lawyer in the case.
