Dholpur: Dacoit Held While Roaming As A ‘priest’ In Dholpur Dist | Jaipur News
Jaipur: In a major breakthrough, Dholpur police on Sunday arrested a dacoit on whom a reward of Rs 5000 was announced. Mukesh Gurjar was arrested by the team of Sone Ka Khurja police in Dholpur while he was roaming around the area in the disguise of a priest.
According to police, Gurjar is brother of dreaded dacoit Keshav Gurjar, who is also arrested by the Dholpur police. Mukesh was among the top ten fugitives of Dholpur district.
“We had a specific input that Mukesh would come to Koley wali Mata temple in the attire of a priest. Hence,our men were already deployed in and around the area. As soon as he entered the temple, he was grabbed and arrested by our team,” said Manoj Kumar, superintendent of police, Dholpur.
Kumar added that police took private vehicles at the spot and posed as pilgrims visiting the temple. “We posed as devotees and detained him first and later arrested him,” Kumar added.
