Dholpur: Four persons killed in two road accidents in Rajasthan’s Dholpur, Churu | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: Four persons including two siblings in Dholpur and two friends in Churu were killed in two separate road accidents on Saturday evening. In both the cases the victims were on two-wheelers and were not wearing helmets.
According to the police, a young boy and his sister were going for a wedding function at Dholpur’s Sahajpur village on Saturday evening on a bike. “Both were on a bike when a rashly driven truck hit their bike. The duo sustained grave injuries and succumbed on the spot. They were not wearing helmets,” said a senior police officer of Deholi police station in Dholpur on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Chotu (19) and his sister Laxmi (21).
In another accident two youths were killed after they were hit by an SUV near Taranagar in Churu district on Saturday evening. According to the police, Jaiveer (29) lived in a rented accommodation in Tara Nagar. “At 10pm on Saturday he went to buy food from a highway eatery with his friend Sandeep Gill (25). Both were on scooter when the SUV hit them,” said a senior officer of Taranagar police station. According to eye witness the SUV first hit the scooter and then a warehouse’s gate before it was stopped. “We have seized the vehicle and have detained one person in this connection,” the officer added.
