Dist Admin Gears Up To Tackle Various Vector-borne Ailments | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Amid growing dengue concern in the state, Jaipur district collector Prakash Rajpurohit directed all officials to ensure adequate arrangements for effective prevention and control of dengue, chikungunya and other seasonal diseases.
“Besides making adequate arrangement, the district collector has ordered to improve the progress of work under the chief minister’s free medicine scheme,” a release from the office of the district collector stated.

The collector was addressing the meeting of the district health committee in the collectorate auditorium on Monday.
At the meeting, he also said the basic facilities of all the primary health centers of the district should be improved and the distribution of medicines should be ensured at the right time at all the primary health centers.
Ghee raid: As part of ‘The War Campaign for Shuddh”, a team – formed by the district administration – raided a few dhabas on Ajmer Road in Jaipur in the wee hours of Monday. Officials have seized ghee of two popular brands. Altogether, 549 kg of spurious ghee was seized and the accused were booked under the Security Standards Act.
