Jaipur: Devasthan minister Shakuntala Rawat said that the Rajasthan State Fair Authority Bill 2023 has been brought for the safe organisation of fairs in the state, systematic management and providing basic facilities while replying to the discussion on it in the assembly on Wednesday. The Bill was passed by a voice vote in the Assembly. “Under the Bill, an effective authority and district fairs committees will be established in each district which will act as nodal bodies overseeing all aspects of the fairs. These specified authorities will see the arrangements and facilities for electricity, water, toilets, parking, transport and stay for the devotees coming to the fairs,” said Rawat. TNN
