NEW DELHI: The Indian Embassy in Ukraine on Monday advised its nationals stranded in the conflict zones to remain calm and make their way to railway stations.
The advisory comes as the weekend curfew was lifted in the Ukraine capital, Kyiv, paving the way for Indian nationals to move to safe and secure locations amidt intense fighting between Russian and Ukrainian armies for the past five days.
“All students are advised to make their way to the railway station for onward journey to the western parts,” the advisory read.

“We expect delays in train schedules, even cancellation at times and long queues. Indian students are requested to carry their passport, sufficient cash, ready to eat meals, and easy accessible winter clothing and only essential items to ensure easy mobility,” the Embassy said in the second advisory of the day.
