Jaipur: PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasrahas taken a dig at the state government’s invite for the new CM’s swearing-in as it mentions that two “deputy chief ministers” will also be administered oath on Friday. Posting the invite on his social media accounts, Dotasra said, “In the government invitation for the swearing-in ceremony to be held tomorrow (Friday), the details of the swearing-in of the deputy chief ministers along with the chief minister have been written, whereas there is no description of the oath of office of any such post in Section 163, 164 of the Constitution.” The Raj Bhavan communique, on the other hand, said that the chief minister and two “cabinet ministers” will take the oath; there is no mention of deputy chief ministers.There was also confusion over the timing. The government invite also mentions the time as 12.05 pm while according to the BJP party statement, the function is scheduled at 11.15 am. TNN

Lalduhoma takes oath as CM of Mizoram, 11 mins also swear in
Lalduhoma, leader of Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) party, was sworn in as the chief minister of Mizoram at Raj Bhavan. Along with Lalduhoma, 11 others also took oath as state ministers. Seven were sworn in as cabinet ministers and four as ministers of state. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati. The dignitaries present included outgoing CM Zoramthanga and former CM Lal Thanhawla. Lalrinpuii from Lunglei East constituency became the first woman cabinet minister in Mizoram.
