Preliminary investigations have revealed that the inmates escaped by accessing the building’s terrace and cutting through an iron net.
The incident came to light on Friday morning when staff members conducted a headcount and realized that three inmates were missing. Transport Nagar police station was promptly informed.
Despite a frantic search operation by the police, the inmates could not be located until late at night. Sources suggest that some inmates had been quietly planning their escape for several days. In response to the incident, the Jaipur police issued an alert to all police stations regarding the escape.
