Ecology: French Tourists Perform Shradh In Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: Foreign tourists coming to Jaisalmer have been impressed with Indian tradition and following it.
A group of 17 women tourists from France performed yoga at Ashtanga yoga centre on Wednesday and on Thursday performed shradh by reciting mantras at Gadisar Lake.
The group performed tarpan for their grandparents. This group for the last seven to eight days saw various tourist spots under the leadership of Sundrone and was so impressed with the Indian culture that they received information about Hindu tradition and shradh going on these days.
The group was already impressed with the yoga and took part in daily classes of yoga at Ashtanga yoga centre. They also met a local priest and expressed to perform shradh for their maternal and paternal grandparents.
They performed shradh at Gadisar Lake. After knowing the importance of shradh, the group performed tarpan at Gadisar lake and pratee for moksha for the forefathers.
Sundrone said that all got emotional after performing shradh.
Priest Anand Ramdev said that when the foreigners asked him to perform shradh, he felt proud of our culture and tradition. He got these women to perform tarpan and shradh by reciting mantras.
